01The short version
LeadWave is built by Techno Ved IT Solutions ("we", "us"). It runs as a Windows desktop application, backed by a small license server that checks whether your device has an active license.
Your actual work — leads, contacts, message templates, chatbot flows, auto-reply rules, campaigns and settings — is stored only in a local database on your own computer and is never uploaded to us. The license server sees a narrower, separate set of data: the device your license belongs to, and basic technical details used to keep that license honest. The sections below spell out exactly what that means.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not run advertising or third-party trackers on either the desktop app or this website.
02What stays on your device
Everything you actually build with LeadWave lives in a local database on your own computer:
- Leads, contacts and their tags, notes and status
- Message templates, campaigns and delivery reports
- Auto-reply rules and AI Chatbot conversation flows
- Group Grabber results and imported lists
- Number Warmer and proxy configuration
- Your app settings and preferences
None of this is transmitted to Techno Ved IT Solutions or to any server we operate. If you export a backup yourself, that file is written to your own computer — we do not receive a copy.
03What the license server collects
To confirm a license is genuine and active, the app periodically asks our license server "is this device licensed?" — nothing about your leads, contacts or messages is included in that question. The server records the following, tied to your license record:

This happens automatically whenever LeadWave starts. It is not optional while a license key is applied — without it, LeadWave has no way to confirm the license is still valid.
04Account and trial data
If a license is issued to you — whether purchased directly, resold to you by one of our resellers, or requested as a free trial over WhatsApp — we (or the reseller who issued it) hold basic contact details against that license:
- Name, email address and mobile/WhatsApp number
- Company name, where supplied
If you are a reseller who generates license keys for your own customers using LeadWave's Cloud-Based Licensing System, we additionally hold your own account details and can see the licenses you have issued — never another reseller's.
05The AI Chatbot and your own API keys
LeadWave's AI Chatbot works with your own API key for providers such as OpenAI or Google Gemini, which you configure inside the app. When you use it, your computer talks directly to that provider using your key. We never see, receive, log or store the conversations you send through it, and we are not a party to your agreement with that provider — their own privacy policy governs what they do with that traffic.
08How long we keep it
License and account data is kept for as long as the license or account is active, plus a reasonable period afterwards for support and accounting purposes. Trial requests that never convert to a paid license are kept for a limited period and then removed. You can ask us (or your reseller) to delete your data sooner — see Your rights below.
09How it is protected
- Traffic between the desktop app and the license server runs over HTTPS.
- Passwords for any reseller or admin portal accounts are hashed, never stored in plain text.
- Access to license data is role-based — a reseller can only ever see its own customers, never another reseller's full customer list.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10Your rights and choices
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to ask us to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we (or a reseller, on our platform) hold about you. To exercise any of these, write to us using the details below — if you were licensed through a reseller, we will route the request to them where the data is theirs to act on, or handle it ourselves where it is ours.
11Children's privacy
LeadWave is a business tool and is not directed at, or knowingly used to collect data from, children. If you believe a child's data has reached us in error, contact us and we will remove it.
12Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters — what we collect, or who we share it with — we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use LeadWave after a change means you accept the updated policy.
